If anyone knows how to do a lot with a little, it’s the students at AZStRUT, a local partnership between schools and businesses in which students learn new skills by refurbishing used computer equipment. That’s why RBI is thrilled to donate a truckload of electronics, confident it will benefit the kids at AZStRUT and continue to give to the community — the fixed up hardware is donated to schools and other worthy organizations throughout the state.
Our recent donation includes 8 workstation towers, 15+ slave-drives, 10+ telephones, computer monitors and stands, a T1 router, cellular phones, USB modems, keyboards and mice, 8 printers and 2 laptops. With such a haul, we’d like to think the AZStRUT students will be busy for a quite a while… But we’ve seen them in action, and their competencies for learning and application leave us assured that all that gear will be back out in the world — in tip-top shape — in no time.
